I wish to be more like the rivers
constant and unforgiving
always forging its path forward
The river does not care if you are
ready or not
It will find a way to continue on
regardless of any obstacle.
You will never see the same river twice
It gains strength, speed, and power
through the storms
It will take up as much space as it needs to
as it’s intended to
Without asking for permission or acceptance
and eventually
It will find its way into the Ocean
